Established two subcommittees focusing on salmonella and water. This committee distributed a survey in order to compile a list of the various ways different industries use and discharge water, reviewed the experiences of the International Laboratory Network in order to provide information that would help laboratories become certified, and provided updated information based on the needs of the industries for such things as HACCP, food safety and risk assessment information, and international guidelines on water.
